Battleship the video game
On the 11th of April Europe got its first glimpse of the new film Battleship but that not what this about, its all about the new game coming out only 9 days after(20th) the as a stand-alone side story of the movie and little is know about the game and the feel of the performance but the basic plot and type of game proves to be interesting.
Forza Horizon leaked trailer
On the 3rd of march a new trailer was leaked on to the internet for Forza Horizon, the 5th game in the Forza series following ‘Forza 4′. while having no real game-play it does contain many scenes of music festivals giving the impression that there will be more story to this up coming game in the Forza series. We will wait with anticipation for more trailer footage.

res and employs about 10,000 people and 6,000 of those are in the UK where it has 600 stores. Before administrators had been put in place yesterday, a proposal was being put together to rescue 300 of the UK game stores. The decision was reached to call in administrators came after the company asked for trading in its shares to be suspended, after telling shareholders there was no equity value left. Over the past year the shares have fallen from 62p to a measly 2.39p.
Game would not supply Mass effect 3 which went on sale earlier.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction Game Review
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is an action-adventure stealth video game, developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Key members of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas team, such as creative director Maxime Béland worked on the game. Splinter Cell: Conviction is available on the Xbox 360 and Windows. Gameloft released a handheld version of the game for Apple’s iOS on May 27, 2010. conviction was officially announced on May 23, 2007 but was delayed until Ubisoft officially announced that the game will be released in April 13, 2010.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is play though the eyes of Sam Fisher as he fight to uncover the truth about his daughter’s death and stop the assassinate of the president, all in an action-adventure stealth video game.
Forza 3 Game Review
Forza Motorsport 3 is a racing video game developed for the Xbox 360 by Turn 10 Studios. It was released in October 2009 as the sequel to Forza Motorsport 2 and the third instalment in the Forza Motorsport series out of 4 games (valid march, 2012). The game includes more than 400 customizable cars from 50 manufacturers and more than 100 race track variations with the ability to race up to eight cars on track at a time. These cars vary from production cars to race cars such as those from the American Le Mans Series.
New additions to the game include an in-car driving view, one button assisted driving, vehicle rollover with detailed undercarriages, real-simulation drifting, drag racing, and SUVs. Also new to the series is the addition of stock cars, albeit generic. Furthermore, the game also provides the ability to paint and upgrade all cars. Forza also included is the ability to upgrade certain production and tuner cars to the race-class level (represented by the performance ratings R3, R2, and R1), as well as the ability to create in-game videos and upload them to the Forza Motorsport website.
Mass Effect 2 Game Review
Mass Effect 2 is an action role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was released for Windows and Xbox 360 on January 26, 2010 and for PlayStation 3 on January 18, 2011. It is the second chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy of video games with mass effect before and mass effect 3 after.
Mass Effect 2 is influenced by decisions from the original Mass Effect and your play though of Mass Effect 2 and depending on these decisions you change the outcome of the game for the better or worse. The entire game is played though the eyes of Commander Shepard, where he is killed by an unknown starship which Shepard later find out to be the insect-like species called the Collectors after being brought back to life by Cerberus (human supremacist organization). The rest of the game is spent with you running around recruiting and gaining the loyalty of a diverse team in order to defeat the Collectors in a suicide mission.
Metro 2033 Game Review
Mertro 2033 is a first-person shooter video game with survival horror elements. The story is based on the novel “Metro 2033″ by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky however it only follows this story vaguely. The game was developed by 4A games and latter released in March2010 for Windows and Mac.
The entire game is played though the eyes of Artyom, the main character where he (you) goes though the post-apocalyptic Moscow metro system which little more than flash light and compass and occasionally clambering above-ground to face the horrors the were left behind 20 years ago.
Asphalt 6 Review – iOS
I don’t game heavily on consoles like the the PS3 and Xbox. However I am more of a mobile gamer. So when I have 5 minuets to spare I will download and game on iOS. Anyway asphalt six is the sixth in the series of the high octane racing game. I have been a fan of asphalt on portable devices such as the DSi. I purchased this application a few months a go and now I have had time to play it for a whole and get a feel for the game, I thought i would share my thoughts and opinions about it.
Career
The career of the game is pretty simple. Complete the objective of the race to earn money to buy cars to go faster and win more races. However you start off in a very basic car such as a mini cooper and work your way up to getting a Bugatti veyron. What makes this game stand out from other racing gamers is that isn’t just circuit racing there others such as drifting and knocking out the set number of cars. Within the campaign you can also upgrade your car depending on if you have unlocked the parts to tune. Alternatively if you don’t want to unlock them you can buy them all! Which in my opinion does kind of defeat the objective of the game. Overall an excellent career.
Free race
If you don’t want to dive into your career for whatever reason. The other option is to do free race. However this is partly linked to your career because you have to have the tracks and cars unlocked it doesn’t have them all unlocked for you to try out.
Multiplayer
I don’t play online much on this game but more of the Bluetooth and local wifi connectivity as I tend to race my brother. But I find that it is very good as you can chose any car even if you don’t have it unlocked. However there are a few downfalls.
I found even connecting via Bluetooth very glitchy. Also when I race friends or family over local wifi or Bluetooth. I had to keep setting it up after each race as it didn’t return me to the the lobby. But instead to the main menu of the game
Overall I found the game an extremely good game however did have a few issues with it with online gaming but otherwise the graphics are incredible and is by far one of the most graphically pleasing games on the iOS app store.

iOS 3.1.3 Devices can’t download new applications from the device’s App Store
Quite a few people will still use the First generation iPod Touch and iPhone. I still have one of each in our house and they are still used! However some bad news for these devices, Since an update that was rolled out on the 16th of december. The users of the Mobile app store on iOS 3.1.3 devices cannot download applications. There is a large thread on apples forums but no official reply from apple themselves regarding the matter. As far as i can see the only way round it is to either wait for the Jailbreak community to fix the issue, Get installious for iPod (Which is jailbreaking and Piracy NOT RECOMMENDED), Plug the Device into the computer and install apps that way, Or just simply have to get a new device! I will update this post or push out another post if any more information comes in
